ABOUT MS. HEIDI: Heidi Mordhorst (MA, MSEd) is a veteran classroom teacher & published poet, now working
as a Teaching Artist throughout Montgomery County. She has led Panda Clubs at East Silver Spring ES
and taught a poetry project for all 3rd graders in Spring 2025. WHISPERshout Writing Workshop
is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to the mission of Poetry and Justice for All.

🏡Welcome to 2026 Summer @ The Studio!☀️
LITERACY + ART + FUN!
Give your child affordable, small-group academic enrichment this summer!
WHO: Kids aged 5-10 working with Heidi Mordhorst, former MCPS Teacher & Author, & volunteers.
WHAT: Weekly minicamps for 8 kids only. Read & write, make art, practice skills, have fun!
WHEN: June through August, Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 12:30pm. Snack is included.
COST: Based on family income: $300 / $150 / $15 for one week. Pay by cash/check/Venmo/Zelle.
