WHO:
Kids aged 5-10 working with Heidi Mordhorst, former MCPS Teacher & Author.
WHAT:
Weekly minicamps for 8 kids only. Read & write, make art, practice skills, have fun!
WHEN:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 12:30pm, June through August. Snack is included.
COST:
Based on family income: $250 / $125 / $12 for one week.
Pay by cash/check/Venmo/Zelle.

ABOUT MS. HEIDI: Heidi Mordhorst (MA, MSEd) is a veteran classroom teacher & published poet,
now working as a Teaching Artist throughout Montgomery County. She has led Panda Clubs at East Silver Spring ES and taught a poetry project for all 3rd graders in Spring 2025. WHISPERshout Writing Workshop is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to the mission of Poetry and Justice for All.
