Each session is a 2-hour stand-alone activity. Group size is limited to 8.
Drop in for $45 per session; book a single session for $40, or book a series of 3 or more sessions for $30 each.
Children eligible for FARMS receive a substantial discount.

  • Poetry Playschool for ages 4-6

    This class supports the literacy development of beginning readers and writers through poetry, songs, drama, natural science and art. Writing projects will be collaborative and process-oriented.

  • WHISPERshout Wednesdays for ages 7-11

    7 Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 PM

    This class has a playful writing workshop format. After an initial craft lesson using poetry or picture books, more experienced writers can start or continue work on a writing project of their choice with expert coaching and peer feedback.

  • Books for Beginners for ages 6-8

    7 Thursdays 3:00-5:00 PM

    This class introduces growing writers to the idea of genre, with opportunities to read, write and act out poems and stories with family themes. Art projects will focus on developing drawing skills for illustration.
